Innocent Happiness

I am always looking for the innocent happiness I once had plenty of without knowing it was that. 

Much has changed since then, much was permanently lost, much was gained, but that innocent happiness I once had, never finds me these days.

I am always staring at the clouds, the trees and the empty streets, looking for the innocent happiness I once had plenty of, without knowing it was that. 

Sometimes, God visits me in those times  tells me to walk with him, gives me great words to ponder on, reflect upon the creation and beyond. 

But I slip out, leave God, and wander as I am always looking for the innocent happiness I once had plenty of without knowing it was that. 

Happiness

Now I Have lost someone dear, and have gained some very loved ones in Life that I think I can say with certainty;

When you are a kid, Happiness is expected

When you are a teen, Happiness is demanded

When you are a middle-aged adult, Happiness is a choice

When you are old, Happiness is what’s still left.
