Eyes Closed

Whether in your favorite temple or at a church or in a monastery or at the mosque. Whether on a serene mountain cliff, or at sunrise by the river or by the teal shores. You always close your eyes to pray, even before your consciousness began, your soul knew the truth – To Look Within, while pausing the sensory. You intuitively look inward to seek god the unknown, who resides quietly within you, you gently calm down to seek inward. You open your eyes to give thanks to the world and the people before you, but you always close to seek, to pray, to meditate.
