Tree of Tranquility
When the mind loses its clarity
and when the thoughts sway.
when there is rage in the eyes,
and knowledge seems a waste
When the walk has no path
and the heart with no joy.
When tears start to roll
seems like no hope……
A silence around and within
left to my own
cuddling in a faith unknown
For the world is big and bigger are my wounds
Sitting under an old tree,
asking it what does it know
when it just stood there all these years,
Sprung from a seed, now in the wood, a haven for many indeed.
Some roots crawled and some did not,
the wind blew hard, but it still stood strong
seasons played yet it stood hard.
It went through it all; yet that silence in it impresses me of all
And what it shared, the music of the leaves
like a smile of God.
It saw me and many more
lessons come in many forms.
A tree what a beauty it can be.
A silence, a hush with which is says it all
